The Project:

With a passion for and background in design and sculpture, Ancient Candle Co.'s founder saw an opportunity to bring sculptural candles to the market. Each unique design is individually handcrafted and inspired by ancient works of art.

This contemporary logo is inspired by the product design using a combination of serif and script typefaces.

The flame-like, hand drawn illustration was inspired by the woman behind the business as well as the very first design they launched with- the ‘La Femme’ torso candle. 

Neutral colours, paired with arch-shaped elements tie the brand together, creating an identity grounded in quality and passion for artisanal design.
